Ready Set Plan!

It is that time of the year to start looking forward to Summer and all that it brings. Sun, Tans, water sports, baseball, swimming, vacations ect ect ect ,,,,,, But it also brings....Kids needing something to do. We all know that busy kids are happy kids. That is why I decided to make Summer fun and try to add just a little bit more to my kids summer last year by organizing a "Summer Fun Field Trip Club". It was a great success. We had at least one trip a week and a movie.
I cannot tell you how much it added to Nic, Taylor's, and My summer vacation. We all had a very fun time spending it with you. One of the things that really stood out was the teenagers males and female helping with all the little kids. It was not only a fun time but a great learning experience for all.
Last year we had many fun day trips that included....hikes, floating the river, museums, picnics, space center, bike rides, Geo cashing, and even a few over nighters going to the Manti Pageant and Vernal to tour the dinosaurs. We have a few new ideas this year that are sure to be just as fun as last year.
I am having a planning meeting next week with a few Moms to get the field trips planned and organized. After which I will be delivering hot off the press calendars to your homes.

Field trips for 2010

Taking ideas for the field trips this year and to see who would like to be included on the list. Thanks for making 2009 a fun summer for all of us. We had a fun time with each other and our kids. I hope that we can have as much fun as we did this year in 2010. See ya all next year:)

Old Fahion Christmas Activity

Going to "This is the Place" for a fun activity on Monday the 21st for Family Night. Leaving my house at 5 pm. Gates open at 6 pm. Let me know who is going so I can get tickets to each family. I get a discount and some in for free. We should arrive back by 9 pm. Hope to see you there. If we have tim ewe can go to Temple Square and see the lights too.

Skiing at Brighton...

Fun in the snow and the sun day at Bright Ski Resort. December 9th. Bring a unwrapped toy and you can ski from 9am till 4 pm for $15. It is a fun way to get out in the snow and the sun tomorrow. If your child is under 10 it is $10 for the day and you do not need to bring a toy.
Lets all plan to meet up at lunch in the lodge. Let me know on here or face book who is all going.
So far I think Bushman's, Young's and Searle's are in. Don't be afraid come out and try your luck at skiing. Everyone is invited.

Winter Fun Field Trips

I am going to do a few Winter Trips with the Field Trip Friends. I will list a few fun ideas and a few fun trips. Let me know if you need any more information on them or if you plan to attend.

The first one is a Ski Trip to Brighton Dec 2nd. 9th, and 16th. You will need to bring a sack lunch or money for lunch. There is discount days every Wednesday before Christmas. The cost to ski for the day from 9am to 4 pm is $15 You must bring a blanket, warm hat , or gloves to be able to ski for that price.

December 5th is the Ward Party and the Santa Parade down town AF

On Monday December 7th I will be going to Mutual Dell (snow permitting) and going tubing with my kids if anyone wants to tag along. I am leaving my house at 1:45.

The night of the full moon in December ...I will be going tubing right after dinner in the canyon with my family if anyone wants to come in the winter moon shine.:)

December 7th we are going to Temple square for family Family Nite. Leaving our house at dark.

December 11th We are going to a old fashion Christmas at "This is the Place Heritage Park"

December 14th..Car ride through the Cool areas for lights. for family nite and doughnuts and hot chocolate at my house after.
