Sad to Say But No Club this Summer....Unless???

So I have taken a job offer this week. I know you are all sad that I will not be around for all the fun that we have during the summer. BUT....You can do your own fun Field Trip Club on your own this year. If you are one of the original members I will help you set one up and give you the book to help make your summer a blast. The fun does not have to end with me going back to work!!!:)
I am selling my Summer Field Trip Club Planners for $35.00 each. For anyone interested.  The booklet includes everything you need to plan , organize, and carry out a great summer of fun and field trips.  I have great ideas listed and a full proof booklet to help your summer with your kids be the best one ever!

Floating the River on Thursday!!

Hike to Cascadew Springs. Up in AF Canyon

This weeks activity is hike at Cascade Springs. Meet at Ryan's house at 11:00 am . Please bring a picnic lunch. We will drive to the springs and hike around on the trail. Easy hike and a fun place to picnic. Please respond on here or Fb to let Us know who all is coming. The cost to go into the canyon is $3 if you do not have a yearly pass.

Trent's Homecoming!!!

Trent will report in church at 9:00am in the American Fork 3rd Ward. It will so awesome to hear from him and all he has to teach us about his 2 year mission. Hope you see everyone there.

July 14th 7 Peaks Water Park

Water Park fun Thursday!!! Hope all you can make it. Meet in front of my house at 10:30am. I will meet you at Seven peaks at 11:00 am. I am coming from down south. A reserved cabana. will be provided. Please Please Let me know how many in your group so we get the right size cabana. Please text or call me at 801-623-9405 If you are going. Leave a message if I do not answer.... Remember the Park does not allow food or drinks. So plan on leaving the park to get food or have a picnic by your car if you do not want to get food inside the park. scheduled the tour of Mrs. Cavanaugh's for Wed. July 13 at 11:00 am. We need to meet at my house at 10:00 am. I have the directions. It may be best if I just copy them and hand them out as we leave. The cost is $1/person. I told them we would have 10-20. If we end up with more then they will divide us into two groups. The tour is about 45 minutes.

Hutching's Museum lehi Ut

This week will be a fun tour at the Hutchings Museum. The cost is $3 a person. Please meet at Sally's House at Noon. We will be going on a picnic first at JC Park and then onto the Museum. I will not be attending this field trip as I have a family reunion to go to. Please call me 801-623-9405 If you plan to go. Address for the Museum is 55 North Center Street in Lehi , Ut. If you plan to just go to the Museum meet at the Museum at 12 :50 as the tour starts at 1 pm.

Trafalga Fun Thursday June 30th.. Come one Come All

We are going to Trafalga Thursday June 3oth. Meet in the Lehi Trafalga Parking lot at 10:00 am. Trying to go early so we miss the crowds. The cost if you do not have a pass very from age and how many activities you are planning to do. Please look at Trafalga.com and look up pricing so you can plan what works best for your family. I know allot have the Pass of all Passes. They are still selling those on line also if you are interested..

Ok is everyone ready? The first activiety of the Summer Field Trip Club is a Scavenger Hunt

The first Trip is a Scavenger Hunt that Starts at my House and continues around our ward area. Please bring your water bottles, walking shoes, and picnic lunch to my house on Wednesday at 11:30 am. We walk around our area looking for clues and treasures. Stopping for a picnic lunch at the JC Park. Hope to see you all there.

A Little Late

I have been busy moving and being out of town for the past month. But.... i am ready now to plan a few field trips. They will need to be on Thursdays as that is my treatment day and I will be up there in that area. If you can lets plan to meet for a little bit on Thursday this week and plan a few fun things to do. 2011 Club Planning Luncheon

I am hosting the 2011 Field Trip Planning Luncheon on...Thursday May 5th.......at my house........at 12 noon

Let me know if you are interested in coming. I will have a lunch catered and we can plan field trips for the summer. I will be sending out invites.

I have some new ideas and places to go this year. I hope that we can continue to have fun as a group. I love each and everyone of you. This has been a fun thing for my family and I. If you know someone that would be interested in joining our group please let me know.

I need to make the day for the field trips this year on Tuesdays. . I also would like to have more fun in the water this summer. Let me know if you bought pool or 7 peak passes for the summer.

Last summer.. was a hard summer as I was not in a good place. I am so excited for the fun this summer though. I am happy and ready to share my ideas and fun with all of you. I also would love to hear the ideas and plans you would like to see us do as a group. I know a few are pregnant and will have new babies this year. Still come and let us help you have a fun afternoon out of the house.

Field Trip Fun .

I thought that a few get togethers with some of the Field Trip Bunch may be a good idea. I found a few fun things to do for winter and decided to maybe arrange a day out with friends. The ideas I have are a Ski Day, Tubing day, and the space center for the kids. If anyone is interested please call me at 801-623-9405 or text.
Brighton Has a discount day on Wednesdays in December. Or night skiing is always fun too.
Tubing at the park in Midway is fun and the space center is open again.

Tree House Museum

I love this museum it is so cool! I hope that for sure all the Mom's with younger kids are able to go. It is really worth the drive. Chrissy will be heading this field trip up for me. I will post time to meet and all soon. Just giving you all a heads up.

Payson Lakes this Wednesday

Payson Lakes is this weeks field trip...... We will be leaving my house at 11:30 am. Traveling to payson lakes and having a picnic and letting the kids swim. Let me know if you plan on going. Also Youth Conference has been changed to The weekend of the Jack Johnson concert..So that is something that has been cancelled now. I went to get tickets ans they were up to $40. from the earlier price. If you still want to go you can go to smith tix they still have grass section still open.

Floating the River Thursday July 15th

We will be floating the river in Leamington Ut It is one of my favorite trips of the summer. Bring a friend the more the merrier.
The river flows like the lazy river at the water park. It is a fun 2 hour trip and the kids really enjoy it. Bring.... a picnic lunch we will stop at the park in Nephi , something to float on, a beach towel, sunscreen, and water. Young kids need a life vest also. There is a Reeds Drive in that is really good right next to the park if you would like to buy lunch instead of making it.
Plan on meeting at my house by 10:30am we will leave from here at 10:45 am stopping in Nephi about 11:45am for lunch. We will get to the river about 1: 10. pm. We need to get ready and place cars down at the drop off after arriving.
The river we float is the Seiver River that comes out of Yuba Lake flowing to the Delta Res. we floated the river last Saturday and Thursday it is flowing a bit faster then last year. You need to make sure you stay with your kids and help them up the steps out of the river.
I hope to see lots of you there. On this activity husbands are welcome to come with us.

Geo-cashng Wednesday June 7th

It is time for the AF CITY Geo cashing for the Steel days Activities. All that are planning to attend please lets me know asap/ Meeting at my house tomorrow at 1:30pm. Bring a little trinket to put into the boxes if you would like to take something out. I will have all these mapped out so you do not need a GPS to go on the treasure hunts.
We will split up into little groups of carpools to make this easier. Meet at Parker's Drive In after to get a ice cream.Hope to see you all there.


Just a FYI... I am trying to see how many are going to float the river this week and how many are going to float next week. I may change this week to just float the lower Provo. Please let me know.

The ride down to the river is about 1hour 15 minutes total and the river ride is about 2 hours. The river we float is the Seiver River that comes out of the Yuba Lake flowing to the Delta Res.
